Explore Cayucos, California

Cayucos is a census-designated place located on the coast in San Luis Obispo County, California, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Walk, beach comb, build sandcastles and explore tide pools at the water's edge. Runners and walkers can make it to Morro Bay (5 miles) at low tide and water enthusiasts can surf, boogie board and kayak. Enjoy fishing off the pier or hike the trail along the bluffs north of Cayucos (Land Conservancy) or the hills along the east side of town. From several viewpoints in Cayucos you can see a big rock called Morro Rock.
